Rohit Roy to make “Kites”

The Anurag Basu’s film “Kites” will have Hrithik Roshan and the two actresses Kangana Ranaut and Barabara Mori in lead roles .The script of “Kites” will be used by Rohit Roy who will make it taking actress Chitrangda Singh and Nandana Sen in lead roles. The film “Kites” is basically inspired from the Woody Allen’s Hollywood movie “Matchpoint”.

The story of the film is about a man who married into a wealthy family to rich girl and he couldn’t leave his girlfriend after marriage .He keeps meeting his girlfriend who belongs to a socially non- acceptable background. The role of mistress is being done by Barabara Mori and it was initially offered to Sonam Kapoor by Anurag Basu but she turned down the film because it needed some bed room scenes in the movie. It’s sure, before Sonam turned the film down, father Anil Kapoor must have refused the film offer.

Even Hrithik Roshan has never given any hot kind of performance in his movies and he has got an image of ideal husband with no association, though he is in bollywood. It will be a surprise to see him doing bed room scenes in the film “Kites”.

In the Rohit Roy film it will be Chitranganda Signh who will be doing such scenes and Rohit will himself play the male lead in his movies and Nandana Sen will do the role of his wife in the film. Earlier Rohit Roy directed the small movie of the Dus Kahaniyaan “Rice Plate” and another movie has been offered to him by Sanjay Gupta that is called “Jazba.”

As for “Kites” the film has even not started its shootings and the rights of the film were bought for Rs 120 crore by Eros International that is one of the highest amounts taken for any movie before the movie hit the floors. Rakesh Roshan had only searched for locations where to shoot the film and the huge amount was offered and it was suspected that the movie got he amount because Hrithik is free for almost a year.
