Salman Unwell, appeal Mumbai High Court against Arrest Warrant
Salman Khan is down with viral fever and apparently for this reason he was not able to attend the case hearing in Jodhpur relating to the Black Buck poaching cases of 1998, on Monday.
Salman’s counsel S V Marwadi had filed a petition in the Mumbai High Court on Tuesday to cancel the arrest warrant issued against Salman Khan by Chief Judicial Magistrate B K Jain.
Salman had gone abroad for hair treatment and fell ill due to the antibiotics that were prescribed after the treatment. His lawyer told High court that actor could not appear at the hearing because of his illness.
The hearing at Jodhpur court was rescheduled for January 12 with a warning if the actor failed to show up again, he would be arrested. Now Salman’s counsel is also urging that the actor may be granted bail on the conditions that would be laid down by the High court.
The Bollywood actor has also cancelled the shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s film Jaaneman, starring Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta.
