Raj Kumar Santoshi has commenced the shooting of his long-cherished project ‘London Dreams’ starring Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan. Recently Salman Khan and his family made a trip to Amritsar and visited the Golden Temple during the shooting of the film.

London Dreams is about a rock band in England where Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan are rock musicians. They play childhood friends. Santoshi is now casting for the other roles. He will require some actors from London and an African-British actor. About eighty per cent of the story will unfolds in London and the rest take place in India.

A film about a rock band is new territory for both the director and his two leading men. Also Santoshi has never shot a film abroad so extensively before. Director said, “That’s true. This is the first time that I’m moving into issues and emotions beyond nationality. London Dreams is about individuals, their dreams and desires, as brought together by their music”.

A. R. Rahman is giving the music, with seven to eight songs in the film. The screenplay will be by Sreedhar Raghavan who has written several of Santoshi films. The film would be completed by end of the year.
