Shahrukh Khan is a brand that is selling not only through the Bollywood movies but also through the advertisement. The actor who was awarded by the French President Nicolas Sarkozy recently, is known to be an ambassador of Indian culture across the globe and is spreading the Indian culture to the audience all over the world. The giving away of award to the actor by the French government depicted that he is popular in France so much that he got such honor.

The actor gets 1 crore for being present in a function arranged by any person in India and he said that he asks for the money from his producers after making the analysis on the what will be the return amount to his producers. He said that he never asks for extraordinary costs to his producers.

This year Khan earned more from the various kinds of advertisement then from his movies and this was proved when he paid the taxes to the Indian government. The actor, who gave two hit movies in the year that were huge grosser i.e. Om Shanti Om and Chak De India, did earn more from the advertisements and endorsement.

Shahrukh Khan was getting paid Rs 1 crore for every episode of the TV competition Kaun Banega Krorepati. May be the participants of the show, were or were not crorepaties (millionaire) after participating in the show but the host was definitely adding a crore to his assets after each episode of the show.

In the year 2007 Khan earned 150 crores of rupees from advertisements and whereas Amitabh Bachchan who has endorsed more products then Shahrukh Khan could earn 120 crore rupees and the other brands of the Bollywood like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan also made good money from the advertisements but less as compared to the king of Bollywood.

Already Khan had paid 27 crores towards taxes in December and the tax paid is expected to more than expectations as the financial year passes.Even the year 2008 is expected to be a beneficial year for Khan that will show him increasing his assets and taxes he is paying.
