After Shikhar promos failed to make impact on its viewers now John Mathew Matthan has thought a new way to promote his movie. Shikhar is taking help of small screen for promotion.

Shahid was recently seen dancing to the Shikhar song Fitna Dil on a popular dance show on Star one channel. He will be seen in other Television serials too.

Shikhar promos are said to be the worst promotional campaigns ever for a big budget movie and the surprising part is that Amrita Rao was absent in them. Her take on promos was, “I am certain that people will appreciate the film. But the promos don’t wholly justify it, because what you see is not really what you get.”

“They probably don’t want to give away the look of the film, but at the same time they cannot misguide the viewers this way. I think the promos were handled by somebody else; I don’t think our director John was involved in this.” Amrita believes that John M Matthan, was too busy tying up loose ends to have paid much attention to the promos.

Also, the promo has Bipasha Basu in them but not Amrita, “They didn’t want to reveal my look. The promos might be bad, but from word-of-mouth publicity, the film will definitely work,” she claims.

Shikhar is releasing on 30th December and has three weeks to make up to its loss.
