Shyamalan of “Sixth Sense “will visit India

The internationally acclaimed movie writer and director, Manoj Night Shyamalan will be visiting India for the promotion of his latest movie “The Happening” and also to collect the Padamshree Awards from the Indian government that will be handed over to him in a award function by the President of India ,Mrs. Pratibha Patil.
The American- Indian director Shyamalan has already made some critically praised movies like “The Sixth Sense”, “Signs” and “The Village”. “The Village” was nominated for the Academy Awards.
Shyamalan will be visiting India on May 6th after almost 10 years and will stay here for a month and he will promote his latest venture here in India. “The Happening” is one of the expensive movies of Shyamalan who spent $37 million in the making of the film. The CEO of the co-production company for the movie Siddhartha Roy Kapoor said that he was delighted for the visit of Mr. Shyamalan to India.
It was also informed that the movie will be released worldwide on June 13. The movie ‘The Happening” will be released after the release of the movie “Lady in the Water.” that almost failed to get collections at box-office from the tickets sales but Shyamalan is expecting that this one will get the praised from the audience all over the world.
On talking about the movie “The Happening”, Shyamalan said that he had lot of fun making the movie and the movie will be transverse to the two movies, “The Birds” and “Invasion of the Body Snatchers.” In which a school teacher tries to capture a force that is unknown to normal human and it seems to be helping people. The movie will cast Zooey Deschanel and is produced by the 20th Century Fox Studio.
