Siskiyaan is a remake of ‘Death and the Maiden’ a thriller directed by Roamn Polanski.

But hello! We already saw Kanika Verma’s interpretation of the movie (Dansh); that too hardly a fortnight ago.

Dansh came and went, no one even noticed. Its problem was that the cast was relatively unknown and budget small. Kanika relied heavily on performances of its lead actors (Kay Kay and Sonali Kulkarni) who are largely unknown faces for masses.

Producers of Siskiyaan on the other hand are banking heavily on the skin show by Neha Dhupia and response her earlier outing (Julie) fetched from masses. Will it work remains to be seen!!

Story:
Ayesha (Neha Dhupia) is a survivor of a morbid past. A haunting look in her eyes shows how hard the life is for her. Ayesha is a victim of gruesome rape by an unknown and unseen assailant. Finding the man and seeking revenge is the only motive in her life. She lives with her husband Javed (Sachin Khedekar).

A chance encounter with Dr. Vishwas (Sonu Sood) at their residence brings back the memories. Ayesha gets a vague feeling that Vishwas is the man who raped her…though blindfolded at the time of rape Ayesha strongly believes that Vishwas is her culprit.

Following her instincts she torcher Vishwas compelling to confess his heinous sin. She asks Javed to kill Vishwas who has been denying the blame throughout.

The dilemma mounts as the story moves further.

Is John really the rapist or innocent?

Is it okay for Ayesha to trust her instinct? Or is it the fragment of her imagination trying to avenge her rape by punishing Vishwas? What should Javed do?
