Aksar is a romantic-suspense drama. The movie is a thriller focusing on the mind games between three people - Emraan Hashmi, Udita Goswami and Dino Morea. The film is directed by actor-turned-director Ananth Narayan Mahadevan. The movie has Emraan playing a fashion photographer, whereas Udita plays a diva. Dino-Udita are husband-wife in film.

After burning up the screen with their chemistry in Zeher, the Emraan Hashmi - Udita Goswami pair will scorch the screen again in Aksar. Actor Dino Morea, who hasn’t been seen much on the big screen of late, hopes to start a new innings of his career with this movie. He also has another big movie coming up - Pooja Bhatt’s Holiday. Aksar boasts of many bold scenes (bolder than Zeher) and according to the director, a bold scene in the movie is a turning point in the story and carries it forward.
