Subash Ghai Delays Kishna announces four new Projects

Subash Ghai has decided to shift the release date of Kishna which was earlier scheduled for a December 24 release. He has done it because of two reasons. Firstly many movies are releasing in November and December. Naturally each one will tend to eat into each others business. Agreed, Subash Ghai has his own set of trusted Fan-following but a movie of the magnitude and grandeur of ‘Kishna’ requires ample space to recover costs. Also, after the debacle of his last directorial venture - Yaadein, Ghai can ill afford another flop; so he isn’t taking any chance with Kishna.

Secondly, on November 12 we have another release from Ghai’s production banner - Aitraaz. Due to the small time gap, Mukta Arts marketing team was not able to give full attention both projects required. Both of the movies have big investment and there were talk in the tinsel town that Ghai was giving step-father treatment to Aitraaz.

Now Subash Ghai also announced four projects on October 24 as a tradion of Ghai’s Mukta Arts. Ghai considers October 24 auspicious as this date happens to be Subash Ghai and his wife’s wedding anniversary. Ghai announced four new projects on the occasion, to be directed by Satish Kaushik, Abbas-Mustan, Nagesh Kukunoor and Ghai himself, though star cast and other details about the projects were not available immediately.

The showman made it a day to remember like always by pulling in Who’s Who of the film industry on the auspicious day to his venue.
