Suzanne Pregnant: Hrithik Overjoyed

Five years after they got married, Hrithik and Suzanne are soon to become proud parents and expecting their first child in April 2005.

Gramps-to-be, Rakesh Roshan, presently in Singapore (shooting for Krrish), can’t stop beaming ever since he’s heard the news. “Yes, it is true. Hrithik is becoming a daddy. Pinky (Hrithik’s mom) and I are feeling great about the news and waiting for the day. I am becoming a grandfather for the second time - I have an eight-year-old granddaughter (daughter Sunaina’s child).”

When did they find out? “It was more than a couple of weeks ago when Pinky told me; I was in Mumbai then.”

In the meantime, Hrithik is popping champagne for the greatest gift of all. It’s pure jadoo for this actor as he’s set to become daddy for the first time. Congrats Hrithik. Congrats Suzzane.

Hrithik, who has just landed in Singapore, says, “Life is an evolution and today I am on to the next stage - fatherhood. There is always a fear of the unknown. But that’s the fun of it all. I am looking forward to becoming a father - I was ecstatic when I heard!”

Hrithik has no preferences for a baby boy or girl but Suzanne wants to deliver a baby girl.
