The action thriller movie in a slow Race

There has been no promotional and expected release dates for the multi- starrer movie Race but the movie is racing to get completed and be released soon. In the competition to the big budget and huge movies like Jodha Akbar and Subhash Ghai’s Black and White the movie Race is slowly trying to race with the other releases of the year. The movie Race was last expected to get released by October 2007 but the delay in making of the movie has delayed the release of the movie.

The actors in the lead role in the movie are Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Khanna, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif and Sameera Reddy. Initially it was Mallika Sehrawat who was doing the movie but later she was replaced by Sameera Reddy. The music of the film has been given by Pritam and the movie is made by director duo Abbas Mastan under the Production banner of Zee Telefilms Ltd (ZTL)

In the movie Anil Kapoor again pairs up with Sameera Reddy like the previous movie Musafir. Anil Kapoor is playing a detective in the movie and Sameera is his assistant.

Bipasha Basu plays a model who is married to the younger brother of the guy whom she was in love with. The detective is invited to come into the lives of the three people when a murder happens at their place.

The movie is an action thriller with a rare combination of the lead actors as the lead stars are not popular for their actions in Bollywood so this will be a movie to watch for some new stuff.

The lead actress in the movie Katrina Kaif and Bipasha Basu both are doing good in Bollywood and Katerina is considered to be a lucky card for the movie makers.

In the last year a few action thrillers were released and the movies had a below average performances at the box office like the movie Speed and Cash. This year will have many big releases and many action movies and the movie Race will have to race with all these movies.
