The first look of Priyadarshan’s Khatta Meetha released on TV

Who is the master of making remakes of hit films of South in Hindi? Priyadarshan now knows the formula to make a remake of Tamil or Telugu or Malayalam movie in Hindi. The next one coming from him is the remake of Vellanakalude Naadu, which was released in 1988 having Mohanlal, Shobana in lead roles and the movie is based on the story of misuse of funds by government contractors.

The movie shows how the government contractors use fake material in construction of highways and repairs of roads. People in different parts in India can see how the roads are fixed every year and every year one sees the re-construction work .The movie shows that the funds provided for these constructions are misappropriated for the benefit of government officials.

The next movie from Priyadarshan is a satirical comedy called Khatta Meetha and the promos of the film immediately gained attention as Akshay Kumar and other star cast appeared on screen having their funny looks and dialogues.

The lead role in the movie is played by Akshay Kumar and Trisha Krishnan. Trisha is debuting in bollywood films from this movie .The supporting casts include Rajpal Yadav, Makrand Deshpande, Johny Lever, Milind Gunaji, Neeraj Vora, Asrani ,Atul Parchure, Urvashi Sharma, Aruna Irani, Paritosh Sand and others.
