The new three year contract ratified by the writer’s guild
The Directors Guild of America voted to get a ratified new three year contract with the directors. The leaders of the13, 500 member unions signed the agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers that was made in January.
The Writers Guild comprising of the Writers Guild of America -West and Writers Guild of America -East came together to call off the strike but the ratification of the agreement was not made.
The spokeswoman declined to talk about the exact number of votes for the agreement.
