The music of the week is dominated by the two albums Saawariya and Om Shanti Om. A few new releases like the album Jab We Met is also very impressive. But the main competition is between the two movies Saawariya and Om Shanti Om that are supposed to be released on the same date November 9 and are getting hugely promoted by the directors of the movies Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Farah Khan. The albums are concentrating not only on the national market but also the international audience is target of these two movies and albums.
Saawariya-The title song of the album and all the song in Saawariya are not only loved and listened by audience in India but also in UK and other parts of the world. The classical and soothing music is extremely relaxing and enjoyable.
Om Shanti Om- The album songs like Main Agar Kahoon and Ankhon Me Teri are getting popularity day by day and except few people not getting impressed by Dard E Disco, mostly the song is getting listened by all kinds of audience.
Johnny Gaddaar –The album has songs from a different genre and this makes it lovable among the audience. The typical 70’s touch prevalent in the album along with the music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is lovely.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa-The songs of the album are also liked specially the Hare Krishna Hare Ram and Mere Dholna. The promos of the album are also impressive.
Dhol-The album of movie Dhol has a few songs like Oh Yaara Dhol Bajake that is gaining popularity among the audience.
Jab We Met: The songs of Jab We Met are the latest ones and are having the effect to pick up among audience like the song Aao Milo Chalo and others.
Laga Chunari Mein Daag : The popular gazal Chunari Mein Daag is the one picking up among the audience that is different in the album from the previous version of the song due to its narrations along with song.
Manorama Six Feet Under –the song Woh Bheege Pal is impressive song of the album. There are a few more songs on the album that are good to listen.
Chak De India: The songs of the album are played in most of the national events and functions and day by day gaining popularity.
Heyy Babyy-The album is still in charts and the songs are good to hear.
