He is currently shooting for Subhash Ghai in a film directed, by Abbas-Mastan. But the offers don’t stop here.

Model-actor Upen Patel has been approached for three films to be directed by Kalpana Lajmi, although he hasn’t signed on any of the dotted lines as yet.

When we got in touch with him, he told us, “I’d love to work with Kalpana. She’s a great director. But I have been traveling extensively and haven’t had the time to meet up with her. However, I do have a gist of the storylines.”

Of the three movies, one is titled Devdasi starring Priyanka Chopra in the lead and the other, Saatso, a full-fledged comedy.
