Weekly box office

This week the movie that will be released on Friday is Rama Rama Kyaa Hai Drama. The movie is a comedy and the attractive point of the movie is presence of Rajpal Yadav who plays husband of Neha Dhupia .The movie has a story about husband and wife relation and fight amongst the couple .The movie is will be released on the coming Friday and no big budgeted highly promoted movie is getting released in the initial week of February month.

January has not been an encouraging month for the Bollywood and also for the box office. Some of the movies released in the month were My Name is Anthony Gonsalves, Bombay to Bangkok, Halla Bol, Sunday. None of these movies is said to be doing business more than by 50% in the major Indian cities or abroad. In International market the December releases of Bollywood, Welcome and Taare Zameen Par are still in charts whereas Halla Bol is considered to be the first flop of the year in the UK markets.

The last week’s released movie Sunday by Rohit Shetty was praised by most of the movie critics and had promises to make money on the box office but unexpectedly the movie went bad on box and couldn’t get good collections.

The movie had the perfect actors Arshad Warsi and Irfan Khan along with the top leads was praised for its good comedy but many critics found that the actions disturbed the rhythm of comedy in the movie and that was disliked by the audience.

The youth in metro cities are enjoying the movie Sunday and the movie may continue to make money in this week as this week will not be coming up with any big budgeted heavy star cast movies.

The earlier released movie in the month January by Nagesh Kukunoor Bombay to Bangkok is said to have suffered for the change in style by the director Nagesh and the combination of Nagesh and Shreyas for the first time was unsuccessful in making an impact on the audience. The producer of the movie Subhash Ghai has made Nagesh responsible for the losses made by the movie.
