Writers uncertain of cost of strike
The Hollywood writers have announced to return to their jobs from Wednesday but the writers are unsure of the cost they will have to incur for being on strikes for 14 weeks. Many writers are unsure of their jobs in TV as the companies like NBC Universal is planning to quit the business of running pilots on TVs.
The losses incurred to the studios and production houses for not running shows for three months is calculated to be around $3 billion and a former lawyer with WGA, Jonathan Handel said that though the deal of strike is good but it is not as expected.
