Zeenat Aman and Rajesh Khanna are paired together for writer-director Shahrukh Mirza’s upcoming movie titled, Jaana - Lets Fall in Love.

The two Bollywood veterans will be seen together onscreen after a long gap of 30 years! Interestingly, the two actors play aged characters in the film with a love angle between them.

The film is based on a man, Rajesh Khanna (Kakaji), who comes to India in search of his old love, played by Zeenat Aman. Zeenat will portray an unmarried woman with a slight flair for flirtation. She also plays a motherly figure to the film’s two young stars Rehan Khan (Shahrukh Mirza’s son) and actress Anjana Sukhani.

‘Jaana’ is currently under production and is likely to hit the theatres early next year. The film would also have a lot of memorable yesteryears’ songs and dialogues from Rajesh Khanna and Zeenat Aman movies from the past.

Zeenat told a news channel that she feels mentally and emotionally ready to return to acting in films. “For an artiste to take on a project she needs to be mentally and emotionally ready - I am now. Of course, I also looked forward to being paired with ‘Kakaji’,” she was quoted as saying.

Both Zeenat and Rajesh Khanna agree that it was the movie’s script that excited them to do it.
