Reality Shows should not be based on kids’ competitions for SMS

The reality shows are mushrooming on Indian television and the shows are favorite of the channels for many reason - firstly, the audience watch these shows for its honesty and reality, secondly, the channels benefits from the advertisements and from SMS’s from audiences for these shows and thirdly the channels need not pay to the top television actors and actresses to perform roles in these shows. Bollywood stars join the Cola and Pepsi war

The Bollywood stars have joined the war amongst the soft drinks companies Cola and Pepsi. The advertisement companies have come up with some new brand ideas to promote their products. The latest advertisement of Coca Cola shows Akshay Kumar driving a car dangerously to get the bottle of Coca Cola though the advertisement also shows the warning that the stunts shown have been shot under expert’s guidance and should not be copied.
Cola seems to have endorsed the actor Akshay Kumar, who is currently the top star of Bollywood to fight the advertisements of Pepsi that has incidentally three competitive Bollywood stars. The advertisement of Pepsi is marked by the presence of the Bollywood debutants.
The two Bollywood debutants Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, who bagged the Best Debutant awards (Male) and Best Debutant awards (Female) respectively for their roles in movies Saawariya and Om Shanti Om, are seen together on the screen. (more…)

Trend of oppositions of movies based on historical scripts
The movie Jodhaa –Akbar is one of the good movies of Bollywood for its rich depiction of history and Indian culture but the movie is facing charges for depicting a wrong history to people and that is getting oppositions from the groups and organizations in many states of India. In the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and even many areas of New Delhi people have carried out rallies against the movie and government banned the screening of the movie Jodhaa Akbar.
Many Rajput groups registered legal cases against the movie that shows a princess from a Rajput Royal family marrying a Mughal Emperor to fulfill a political contract. The movie is being accused of depicting Jodhaa to be Akbar’s wife though in history the Mughal Emperor Akbar never married a Rajput Princess called Jodhaa but Akbar married some other Rajput Princess who was like the characters of Jodhaa depicted in the movie. Low Budgeted and low promoted movie Mithya making good collections

The movies like Bheja Fry, Johnny Gaddar, Jab We Met and Taare Zamen Par are low profile movies. In the same category comes the last weeks released movie Mithya that is a low promoted and low budget movie.
These movies are unique because the movie turns out to be good only on the performance of the actors and the script. These movies cannot run if there are any faults in the performances delivered by the main casts of the movies and if the script of the movie is weak there can be no scope for these movies. (more…)

Kids get recognized as audience in Bollywood

Jodhaa Akbar – is a love story

The movie Jodhaa Akbar is getting promoted by the director Ashutosh Gowarikar to be a historical love story that tries to capture the emotions and romance between a hard hearted tough Mughal Emperor Akbar and a beautiful Rajput princess Jodhaa. The movie shows how the marriage between the two royal people was a contract that later turned out into a strong relation and the son of the two Jodhaa and Akbar, Salim later carried forward the Mughal dynasty to the next generations.
