What is the life span of fame in bollywood?

Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar have been in bollywood from more than a decade. Shahrukh, Salman and Aamir are senior most actors, who have dominated the bollywood for more than two decades. In the last few years, it has become very difficult for actors or actresses to stay back in bollywood for more than two to three years but good performance, marketing and a list of properly selected movies always provide a route for a long stay in cinema world.

Bollywood reacts over the Bhopal gas tragedy verdict

Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog that the punishment given for the chemical disaster is “Jail term of two years.” The Bhopal Gas tragedy has been one of the most unfortunate events in the history of India and the judgment on the incident was given on 7^th June 2010 – almost 25 years. In this case most of the sufferers believe justice was delayed and even denied.

Praises for Kites after the premiere

At Times Square Hrithik was mobbed by more than five hundred fans which resulted in traffic jam during the premier of Kites. Roshan’s made special arrangement for the fans who were coming in many numbers. Initially at the premiere arrangement was made for fixed number of guests but later Rakesh Roshan had to add more chairs. At the premiere the short version of Kites (which is called the Kites The Remixed) was shown.

Production houses failing to deliver up to their names

In the last week the most watched movies of bollywood were Badmaash Company, Housefull and Hai Marjawaan! (Hindi) or It’s A Wonderful Afterlife. Hollywood’s Iron Man was also popular with multiplex audience. Badmaash Company is Yash Raj Banner’s film, Housefull is from Sajid Nadiawala and the movie Hai Marjawaan is Gurinder Chaddha’s film. Unfortunately audience did not feel the work of Housefull or Badmaash Company or Hai Marjawaan was upto the names associated with these movies.

Munnabhai Chale America –not to meet the president

There was a time in India when every student said he or she wanted to be an Engineer or a Doctor. The movies 3 Idiots and Munnabhai MBBS took both the professions - medical education (MBBS) and Engineering as their subjects and showed the drawbacks of the most admired professional education systems.
