Horror film “Help” tries to scare through a number of very different kind of animation sequences and the script get predictable in the later parts of the movie, which make the movie less interesting .The story of the movie is about Vic and Pia who are undergoing a difficult phase in life. Pia is pregnant and a spirit tries to possess her and it starts killing people close to her. Movie Review: Peepli Live

peepli live

Banner: Aamir Khan Productions

Producer: Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao

Executive Producer / Co-Producer: Ronnie Screwvala

Director: Anusha Rizvi

Star Cast : Omkar Das Manikpuri, Raghuveer Yadav, Malaika Shenoy, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Shalini Vatsa, Farrukh Jaffer, Vishal O Sharma

Movie Review :

Aamir Khan should be praised for promoting the film Peepli Live as the film has been marketed like a commercial movie and it raises the issues of farmer suicide and greed of some people of society who pretend to be great people but they exploit some of the poorest of poor for their benefit. It has been found that many farmers in Maharashtra, M.P and Punjab have committed suicide because they are unable to pay back bank loans as they suffered losses in agriculture .The movie also shows that the class of people — the politicians or media –promises to deliver their best but they make use of people’s sentiments to make money and to gain power.

Diamond Rings

Cinematography: Diego Rodriguez

Screenplay: Devika Bhagat

Movie Review :

The film Aisha shows the Delhi high class glamour and a nice youth based script but it fails to get serious. The story of the movie was written in 1815 — the English novel written by Jane Austen and it has been previously made as TV serials and Hollywood film. The bollywood version of the Novel enacted by Sonam Kapoor is fine attempt to remake the story but the movie appears trivial and gets serious only in parts.

The fashionable depiction of amazing 70s – 80s era with a freshness , a script combined with strong dialogues ,emotions , romance and the right cast makes the movie Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai – a perfectly entertaining movie. There is no message in the movie except that it has been made with sincerity to get everything perfect.

Director: Priyadarshan

Star Cast : Akshay Kumar, Trisha Krishnan, Makrand Deshpande, Rajpal Yadav, Johny Lever, Neeraj Vora, Milind Gunaji, Asrani, Atul Parchure, Aruna Irani, Urvashi Sharma, Paritosh Sand

Rating: 5/10

Priyadarshan brings in another remake of south movie Vellanakalude Nadu and this one has excellent performance from Akshay Kumar and Rajpal Yadav but the movie lacks content to keep things consistent. The film is about a common man , Sachin Tichkule who is a contractor and he is considered useless by his family members because he believes in simple working until one day he realizes that the simple way may not bring him success and therefore he adopt the corrupt path to get success. The changed Sachin , is the person who does not like to walk on his constructed road and he believes more in broken roads because it gives him an opportunity to construct.

Movie Review: Tere Bin Laden

Movie Review: Tere Bin Laden

tere bin laden

Starring: Ali Zafar, Barry John, Piyush Mishra

Directed by Abhishek Sharma

Rating : 5/10

The movie uses caricatures to ridicule American policy of searching for Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan. Tere Bin Laden is about a boy who works in a TV cable station and has the ambition to go to America. It is very common to see people in India in certain parts (like Punjab) and in Pakistan– upper middle class –a hype to fulfill the dream to reach any of the western country.

Director: Vikramaditya Motwane

Star Cast : Rajat Barmecha, Ronit Roy, Aayan Boradia, Ram Kapoor, Manjot Singh, Anand Tiwari, Suman Mastkar, Raja Hudda, Varun Khettry, Shaunak Sengupta, Akshay Sachdev

The movie “Udaan” is not just the issue of the growing teenage boy but it is about the pressure created by parents on children to pursue their dream without considering if the kid is interested in pursuing the dream, he is capable or not .The burden and the emotional problems faced by middle class teenagers along the issues of growing age is depicted in the movie and the movie shows it with a different angle.
