Coincidence of Bollywood and Hollywood releasing similar movie same day

It was a coincidence that Budha Mar Gaya and Death At a Funeral were released on the same date and had almost similar story lines.

Since the movies are released on the same day none can be said to be inspired from the other movie but both are comedy movies revolving around death of a person.

Blue Umbrella premiered and releasing today

The Blue Umbrella is a movie for children and it is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, who made Makdee and Omkara. The movies cast Pankaj Kapur and Shreya Sharma. The story is based on a Ruskin Bond novel and captures the desire of human beings to be the ruler of the sky that is depicted though a small blue umbrella.

Movie on Gandhi releasing today

Today is the release of much awaited movie Gandhi My father .It is a movie by Firoz Abbas Kahn and displays the conflict between a father and a son.

The father is the father of the nation and the son is the eldest son of Mahatma Gandhi, Harilal played by Akshay Khanna. It shows how Mahatma was able to give his solution to the problems of nation but could not understand problems of his son.
