Raj Kumar Santoshi has signed Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta opposite Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan in his forthcoming film ‘London Dreams’ shooting for which just commenced at the Golden Temple.
London Dreams is about two rock musicians who wants to taste international recognition. The film will divulge into their growing up as childhood friends and then their struggle to make it big as two rockers in England.
Santoshi is now casting for the other roles. He will require some actors from London and an African-British actor. About eighty per cent of the story will unfolds in London and the rest take place in India.

Director Raj Kanwar is very busy with the post-production work of Hum Ko Deewana Kar Gaye which was inspired from a real love story. It will be releasing next month.
Kanwar revealed that his film Hum Ko Deewana Kar Gaye was inspired by a real life couple in Canada, “Their love story left me stunned for two days. The third day I met them again. I jotted down details of interesting incidents that transpired in their lives and that’s how I penned the story of my film”, he said.
According to him, Hum Ko Deewana Kar Gaye isn’t the usual, cliched love story. “My films are bold. For traditionalists and people from the older generation, it will be a shock. But the younger generation will be open to the subject,” he added. (more…)

Priyadarshan is gearing to make another laugh-riot titled Bhaagam-Bhaag and this time he is bringing comedy professor Govinda and action cum comic star Akshay Kumar. Both will be joined by Lara Dutta and Paresh Rawal in this comedy to be launched this June.
The director is inspired from English movie as he told, “it’s a totally crazy comedy of errors like Stanley Kramer’s It’s A Mad Mad Mad World.”
He added, “It involves characters in a theatrical group from India who have to perform in London. The actors in the group include Akshay Kumar who is the villain in the play. Govinda is the hero while Paresh Rawal owns the repertory. The story unfolds when the play’s heroine, fed up with Akshay’s and Govinda’s antics, refuses to turn up. So, once in London they’ve on the look-out for a new heroine. It’s a crazy film.” (more…)

Yes, it’s true. The producers chose me after seeing my film ‘Kaal Purush’. It’s an honor to get such an offer, as the book is nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. The film is all about a woman name Nazneen from Bangladesh, who bears lots of hardship in both personal and social levels. It has a strong script and I would love to do it.
