What have you been doing?

Good work! I have been busy with not one, but two Hollywood projects titled 'Return to Rajapur' and 'The Whisperers'. Return to Rajapur is being directed by Nanda Anand and is about Rajasthan.

Tell us about your role.

I am playing the role of Prince Jai Singh, who owns a palace that has been converted into a heritage hotel. The film, which is full of mystery and intrigue, is the journey of a young woman. The film will be showcased at the New York Film Festival and will be released in other film festivals too. (more…)

While Konkona Sen Sharma left Farhan Akhtar’s produced, multi-strarrer project ‘Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd’ to be directed by Farhan’s assistant Reema Kagdi, Raima Sen has been added to the list, in her place.

The film also stars Amisha Patel, Shabana Azmi, Abhay Deol, Minisha Lamba, Kay Kay Menon, Karan Khanna, Ranveer Shourie, Sandhya Mridul and Boman Irani.

Reema confirmed Raima addition, “This film has various important characters and I thought the Raima suited one of the roles best. She is a sensitive actress.” Raima is cast opposite Kay Kay Menon in the film. (more…)
