Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai is releasing after a long delay but Amisha is optimistic about its fate. She has a many films lined for release. But the actress is not worried as she is getting good roles.

How do you feel about Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai that is releasing after so many years?
The film still looks fresh. It’s sad that the co-producer and director Bunty Soorma passed away while shooting was in progress. But it’s his dream which has been realised and I hope it does well. It’s a wonderful film. (more…)

A cold war is going on, on the sets of Munnabhai M.B.B.S sequel between producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and director Raj Kumar Hirani regarding the title of the film. While Chopra is adamant on the working title ‘Mahatma Versus Gandhi’, Hirani would prefer the more breezy title ‘Lage Raho’.

The sequel features the good old Munnabhai pair Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi with the banner’s favourite Vidya Balan. Though a large chunk of the film is ready, the makers are still undecided about what to call this eagerly awaited sequel.

“Hopefully”, says a member of the cast, “Vinod Chopra will see the logic of using ‘Lage Raho’ instead of his chosen title. Until then we can only keep our fingers crossed.”

While Konkona Sen Sharma left Farhan Akhtar’s produced, multi-strarrer project ‘Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd’ to be directed by Farhan’s assistant Reema Kagdi, Raima Sen has been added to the list, in her place.

The film also stars Amisha Patel, Shabana Azmi, Abhay Deol, Minisha Lamba, Kay Kay Menon, Karan Khanna, Ranveer Shourie, Sandhya Mridul and Boman Irani.

Reema confirmed Raima addition, “This film has various important characters and I thought the Raima suited one of the roles best. She is a sensitive actress.” Raima is cast opposite Kay Kay Menon in the film. (more…)

Anubhav Sinha who gave a hit multi-starrer ‘Dus’ will soon release his next ‘Tathastu’ starring Sanjay Dutt and Amisha Patel in lead roles. A Qawwali number has been rendered for the promotional purposes.

Since music of Dus was rocking enough to attract many, we are hoping that Tathastu (with a tagline: so be it!) music create the same effect.

Amisha Patel is playing the character of a mother and Sanjay Dutt is playing her loving husband in ‘Tathastu’. The film also stars Jaya Prada, Amit Divetia, Gulshan Grover and Asrani.
