Bollywood top stars competing to host and judge TV shows


The bollywood top stars are racing to host a show better than their cinema counterparts. The small screen was initially graced by the actor Amitabh Bachchan when he hosted the show Kaun Banega Krorepati and he started a trend in which the bollywood actors were non-hesitant to do a show on television. Television has also been the first platform for the actor Shah Rukh Khan, whose initial interaction with audience was through the television program Fauji and Nukkad.

Though Shah Rukh started with TV’s, he was determined to get to the top slot in bollywood and he went away to mark his own identity on bollywood. And after many years Shah Rukh Khan returned back to small screen from the show Kaun Banega Krorepati as he replaced Amitabh Bachchan in the show.

Currently Shah Rukh Khan is practicing hosting the show called “Kyaa Aap Panchvi Pass Se Tez Hain “.Shah Rukh Khan was so keen on doing the show that he had a set kind of, made at his home to practice the show and he was even helped by the actress Preity Zinta while practicing for the show.

The latest surprise on small screen will be Salman Khan, who is practicing to host a show called “Dus Kadam” .Salman has been offered Rs 89 crores for the 22 episodes of the show and it is said to be the highest paid amount to any star. Salman Khan is preparing seriously to host the show and he has also made a dummy set at his home to prepare for the show. The Salman Khan show is a game show that will be shown on Sony television.

Akshay Kumar is already doing a show on risky adventures.Actress like Urmila Matongkar who has not been doing movies, agreed to judge dance shows on small screen. Urmila earlier judged the dance show “Jhalak Dikhla Ja” on Sony and has been offered another dance show to judge. The yesteryears veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha is also planning to judge a show on television and Kajol and Ajay are already seen on small screen as judges’ to the family dance show Rock and Roll. It shows the latest trends in bollywood when the stars are non hesitant to come on small screen (if they are monetarily benefited).
